RIBBON WORM This image shows one organism. Yeah, you heard it Right. Actually, this ribbonworms can't live more than 10 minutes out of the water. And in this image , it fell apart . Because their delicate bodies rely on water pressure to hold everything in place, ribbon worms do not fare well away from the ocean environment. These fractal-faced worms belong to the phylum Nemertea, a group of animals that hunt using a tongue like proboscis like the one you see shooting out above.(or below youtube video).Their proboscis parallyses their prey.
